best of the non-moto

for me... picking the "best" really hard. i'm the type of photographer to see something and shoot it in one shot... okay, maybe two. this means that about 85% of the photos that come off the camera are ones that i'm proud of... so, the process of picking the best is not so easy. what's here so far is what i think are some of my best shots, ordered chronologically. as of 05/01/09 i've got almost 15k photos archived up... and this gallery only encompasses photos taken up to November 2006. i'm still sorting through the rest.

  • couldn't sleep one night, so i drove all the way up to san fransisco for an early morning sunrise shoot, just for something to do. sunrise over the bay is always magical.

  • a single rose in a bouquet at a flower store, while shopping for flowers for valentine's day. i love how the water droplets came out perfectly. (no i didn't spray it, it was like that)<br /> <br /> i believe that this is a sterling silver rose.
  • the background may be washed out, but the color is real - no saturation or anything. <br /> <br /> she loves to have her hair that color.

  • this is just how the photo came out, when adjusting the washed out levels. no, it's not real... but one of those silk flowers.
  • if you can believe it... this was shot in a moving car, at a stoplight; one hand holding the vase it was in, one hand shooting. this is in my top ten favorite flower photos of <b>all time</b>.
